Start with the food format, inner wrapping and packed size. Folding cartons suit lightweight retail packs; window boxes improve presentation; corrugated structures support heavier multipacks. Direct food contact, grease, moisture and target-market requirements need to be specified before materials are approved.

Direct food contact requires a project-specific material and compliance review. A printed outer box is not automatically suitable for direct contact with unpackaged food.
First establish whether the box touches food or holds a sealed inner pack. Then select the board, window, insert and print finish for the actual use.
Before you order
MOQ and unit price depend on dimensions, board, print, windows, inserts and finish. Quantity does not need to be final for an initial inquiry. Confirm the specification for a formal quotation, and share a few realistic order quantities if you want price breaks compared.
You can start with the food type, sealed inner bag or container, and approximate packed dimensions. We can discuss the structure and packing method before confirming a structural sample and print-ready artwork.
Not automatically. Food type, contact time and conditions, destination market and the chosen paper, coating, ink, window or contact layer must be reviewed first. A carton holding sealed food has different material requirements from one touching unpackaged food.
Confirm cup or tray dimensions, decoration height, any grease barrier, window material and location, handle load and bottom closure. Review filling, removal, display and carrying with the complete packed sample.
Most folding cartons can be supplied flat, depending on the closure and pre-gluing method. Rigid gift boxes and assembled inserts take different shipping volumes. Agree delivery format, outer-carton quantity and destination when comparing packing and freight costs.
A structural sample checks fit, inserts and opening. A printed sample or agreed print reference checks artwork, color and finish. Confirm material documentation, pack-out, schedule and acceptance requirements before releasing the order.
